Frank Lloyd Wright

These pictures are of the Frank Lloyd Wright home, Falling Water, located in PA. I had the privilege of visiting this home, and also Kentuck Knob (another Wright home) in Spring of 2009. I am fascinated by his designs, his ingenuity, and his love for nature/incorporating nature into his designs. He was light years ahead of his time. I hope one day to have even a small fraction of his creative ability.

Paper Moon

Paper Moon is a restaurant in Baltimore, Maryland. I did my restaurant critique there in Fall of 2006 at my former school. I find the eclectic atmosphere to be awe inspiring. It's located in the college district in Baltimore close to Johns Hopkins University. It is open 24/7, and acts a getaway from everyday classes, and the college workload.

Here are a few photographs...Enjoy! And if you're ever in Baltimore please check this place out! You won't regret it!

Summer Inspiration

I took these photos at the National Arboretum in D.C. over the summer, and have since used these color schemes in my apartment here in Greensboro (I'll upload pictures of the apartment at a later date). I find a lot of my inspiration for color, design, texture, form, etc... from nature. I have an incredible fascination with the world around me. It does not matter where I am, if I have my camera I will snap a shot. My friends tease me about how I find architecture everywhere.

Enjoy the photos below, there are more pictures and sketches to come!
